Job Description

Fraud ParalegalAn exciting chance awaits you as we invite you to be part of one of the UKs rapidly expanding law firms. Currently seeking a Paralegal to join our Fraud Department team, which is continuously growing.

  • Furthermore, they will provide comprehensive training on all aspects of the job role to ensure you are fully equipped for the position.
Duties:
  • Analyse financial statements
  • Investigation of fraudulent companies and/or scammers
  • Conducting enquiries as to where fraudulent funds have disappeared.
  • Exploring whether any related industry codes/protocols have been broken.
  • Investigating vulnerabilities and their impact on the scam victims
  • Collating all relevant evidence to the scam and/or fraud that has taken place.
  • Gathering evidence from the victims by telephone
  • Drafting Financial Complaint letters and letters of claim
  • Dealing with complaints to the Financial Ombudsman
  • Assist victims of scams to recover their lost money.
  • Promotion, Management opportunities and team leader opportunities available
  • Correspond with clients and financial organisations.
Requirements:
  • This position requires a customer-focused attitude and willingness to assist.
  • Strong verbal and vocal skills are essential, as well as exceptional listening, questioning, and call control techniques.
  • Excellent letter-writing skills are also required, along with the ability to process information and tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with customer needs, company products and services, and general knowledge is important.
  • The position also requires the aptitude to handle challenging telephone call situations, as well as the ability to explain, recommend and persuade.
  • Knowledge of computer and telephone system applications is necessary.
  • A preferred qualification is 5 GCSEs C and above or equivalent.
  • Legal experience or a law degree essential
