* Managing the day to day financial operations for the Construction division* Business partnering with Commercial and Operational teams.* £65-75k depending on experience, Hybrid working, Flexitime.Excellent opportunity for a CIMA/ACCA or ACA Qualified Financial Controller to join a rapidly expanding, pioneering Property/Construction business in Liverpool. Joining a friendly and collaborative finance team, your remit will include: * Ensuring day to day operations and transactional entry run smoothly for the Construction and Contracts division of the business* Business partnering with commercial and operational teams to report performance and assist with driving performance* Cashflow forecasting, monitoring and communication* Production of monthly management accounts in line with commercial team project appraisals, budgets and forecasts* Ensuring accounts are produced comply with IFRS standards* Assisting with the development and roll out of processes and best practice across finance department* Production of monthly cost reports, working with commercial department to ensure all costs are captured and allocated correctly* Line management for Finance Manager, Management Accountant and Accounts Assistant* Maintain knowledge of CIS and VAT rules affecting the construction industry and apply to day-to-day processing* Assisting with monthly VAT, CIS returns and payroll returns* Management of the revenue recognition process* Lead contact for Statutory audit Applicants will preferably fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified and must have Property or Construction (or similar) sector experience due to the the commercial/business partnering aspect of the role. You will have excellent people skills, with a provenability of being able to build good relationships with finance and non-finance staff to board level.
