Adele Carr is supporting the recruitment requirements of an SME manufacturer in Liverpool. This growing business is keen to appoint a commercial Finance Manager on a full time, permanent basis.Applicants with a background in manufacturing, who are keen to join a company offering a clear succession plan to Financial Controller, please get in touch and apply. This newly created role would suit a proven, qualified, accountant, (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), who is confident taking ownership of the day to day finance function, whilst leading the team to produce management accounts. Its important youre comfortable working in a varied, challenging role and are confident in your skills to adapt. You will be a reliable individual with excellent communication skills and initiative. You must be a great team leader with a positive attitude and natural canniness to lead and motivate the team. Once up to speed, you will be the main go-to-person and take ownership for the following tasks;Supervising / leading / developing growing team Production of month end management accounts, budgeting, forecasting Costings Balance sheet reconciliationBank reconciliation / cash managementStatutory accounting / reporting / year endVAT returnsAd hoc projects, process improvements Experience of working within an SME environment would be a major advantage along with excellent knowledge of MS Excel, (pivots, look up, formulas).
