Job Description

A Community Safety Officer is needed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents within a local community. This role requires a commitment to promoting a safe environment and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.Client DetailsThe company is a well-established, not-for-profit housing group that manages thousands of properties in the Merseyside area.   • Implement community safety initiatives and strategies
  • Act as a point of contact for safety concerns within the community
  • Liaise with local organisations, law enforcement and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on community safety issues
  • Provide advice and guidance on safety matters to residents
  • Contribute to the development of safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as needed
  • Participate in community meetings and forums
ProfileA successful Community Safety Officer should have:
  • Experience in community engagement and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and legislation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with diverse groups
  • A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive community
