Job Description

Hours: Hybrid, Full time hours - Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (40% office working, 60% from home, once fully trained). In office initially for the first month whilst training. Once trained/passed probation can move to flexible workinghours, working between 7am and 7pm, ensuring core hours are worked between 10am and 3.30pm.Rota basis for office attendance 2 or 3 days a week: Candidate may be required to work a late shift in the office, but not necessarily, and only until 5:30pm.Adecco are urgently looking for temporary administrators to work at the Home Office. Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to undertake a range of tasks as part of a large team on a rota basis.
  • Day to day administrative duties for Technical team
  • Data entry for various spreadsheets and feedback logs
  • Monitor email inboxes, sign post to relevant person, monitor deadline dates
  • Creating spreadsheets , cross referencing completion dates from feedback emails, ensure WIP is accurate
  • Collate data from report for appeal determinations
  • PAPs inbox & JR inbox
  • Reviewing Barrier clearance for cases
  • Monitoring Impending Prosecutions dates
  • Minute taking for team meeting
Essential criteria:
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written, including IT).
Due to the nature of the work at the Home Office, the role can be subject to change based on the business needs at the time. Therefore, candidates require a flexible nature and an ability to deal with change.When accepting a role, you will undergo extensive training and the expectation is that you will stay in that role for the duration of the assignment, or a minimum of 4 months, before requesting to be reassigned into a different business area. If youfeel the role upon offer is not suitable, you will need to decide this prior to undergoing training.In addition, Security Clearance will be required together with the below criteria:
  • Resided in the UK for the last 3 years
  • Have a *current* British Passport or settlement status due to the sensitive nature of the work
  • NI Number
  • 2 x proof of addresses (all in UK)
  • 5 years full history with no gaps of more than 1 month
  • 3 years solid reference with no gaps of more than 1 month
