Job Description

A rapidly growing eCommerce agency is looking to add a talented and driven Developer to their team, if you’re looking for that next step, get in touch!What you’ll be doingOur client is a certified Shopify Plus eCommerce agency. Since starting, they have gone from strength to strength, growing not just their client base, but also the talent within. You’ll be joining them on the ride up, working in a fast-paced environment creatingsimple, fast, and efficient solutions. As a competitor in the digital space, you’ll be working with the newest tech, be supported to investigate and research for projects, and develop ideas on how to provide innovative solutions. You won’t be alone; you’ll be joining a strong existing team of Shopify Developers. There will be talent at every level of seniority for you to grow with, bouncing ideas of each other, supporting each other and functioning as the backbone of the agency. You’llbe given regular meetings to discuss your progression, investigate different routes for you career and be given ownership of, not just your clients, but your own progression also. Working at an agency that’s growing, means you’ll be encouraged to grow too,moving up in seniority and helping to build up teams within the business. We are looking for a strong Backend Developer with experience with CMSs such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or WordPress.What experience you’ll need

  • Strong experience with back-end development working either with multiple smaller projects simultaneously or large-scale applications.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Laravel and/or Symfony.
  • Experience with APIs and Web Services (REST, GraphQL, SOAP, etc).
  • Experience in an Agile environment i.e. Sprints, Clean coding, etc.
  • Ideally experience with Node, Python, and/or GO.
  • Ideally experience with Cloud Computing such as AWS, K8s, & Lambda.
  • Comfortable being client facing.
  • Comfortable pitching ideas and different solutions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • A problem solver that enjoys resolving complex issues.
  • A passionate, driven self-starter, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
