Job Description

Job Title: Temporary Role - Allowed Appeals Implementation Team (AO) x 4Salary: £11.10 per hourDuration: Up to 6 months to start once security clearance is obtainedHours: 9 - 5pm (core working hours 10-3.45pm)Shift Patterns: I will be 5 days a week in the office working 37hrs a weekLocation: Level 1, The Capital, New Hall Place, Liverpool. L3 9PPRole Overview:The post of AAIT Administrative Officer is accountable for preparing and implementing immigration grants of status following an allowed appeal. Administrative Officers will be responsible for completing accurate and timely immigration grants of status withina tight policy and time-bound framework. Full training will be given

  • To ensure personal details are correct on Home Office systems
  • Annotate systems to reflect all action taken regarding service of decision, whilst meeting set service and quality standards
  • Prioritise workload, ensuring that outcomes are completed in a timely manner in line with business priorities
  • Be aware of the service standard and prioritise work accordingly
  • Complete general administrative tasks (allocation of Mail, faxes, files, file tracking, management of valuable documents).
  • Maintain / monitor internal and external administrative inboxes.
  • Update case work systems with details of correspondence received and action taken
  • Manage expectations of the customer, following up and responding to enquiries by email and telephone, to an agreed local standard
  • Assist with biometrics registration and enquiries to ensure all applicants receive their cards within the target timeframes
  • Complete all work in line with data management and in line with data protection guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience of working together, demonstrate adaptability and proactively engage with changing priorities.
  • A strong proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Show enthusiasm for work, is professional and customer focused.
Security Clearance Due to the nature of the work you will be required to apply for security clearance that can take up to 35 days dependant on your history. You will also need to have the following to be able to process your application:
  • Resided in the UK for the last 3 years
  • Have a *current* British Passport or settlement status due to the sensitive nature of the work
  • NI Number
  • 2 x proof of addresses (all in uk)
  • 5 years full history with no gaps of more than 1 month
  • 3 years solid reference with no gaps of more than 1 month
