Job Description

Salary: £10.10 per hourDuration: Up to 6 (Six) month contract to start asap after security clearance obtainedHours: Full time, 37 hours/week, Mon - Fri, Flexible working, must log into work before10.00 am and log out no later than 19.00 pmLocation: Liverpool, L3 9PPJob DescriptionA varied, interesting and sometimes challenging workload, providing support to the Customer Operations Support Services team within the ALAR division. Dealing with ad-hoc requests from management and caseworker colleagues to agreed timescales, includingbut not limited to: photocopying, faxing, scanning of documents, requesting files, dispatching post and email correspondenceKey Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and files for the unit, including distribution of post
  • Responsible for making sure that litigation responses are communicated to the claimant within the specified deadline via secure email or post
  • Photocopying, file linking and entering accurate data on the various litigation and immigration case work systems timeously
  • Carrying out administrative tasks for team members within required deadlines
  • Manage mailboxes for incoming workflow and enquiries
Essential criteria:
  • Customer focused and service skills
  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a customer focused environment
  • Proficient with IT and Microsoft Software packages
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
Security Clearance: Due to the sensitive nature of the work, we will need to apply, on your behalf, for security clearance and you will need to meet the following requirements: Resided in the UK for the last 3 yearsHave a *current* British Passport or settlement status NI Number2 x proof of addresses (all in UK)5 years full history with no gaps of more than 1 month3 years solid reference with no gaps of more than 1 monthDue to the nature of the work at the Home Office, the role can be subject to change based on the business needs at the time.
