Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a shift leader to work within a distillery for the fastest growing drinks producer in the UK. This is a great opportunity for an individual eager to join a growing business, which provides career progression opportunities.The successful applicant will manage and take lead within a 30+ team unit. You will be required to work on the production line whilst supervising, organising and managing all team members. The candidate will also be required too:

  1. Complete a register of all candidates prior to the shift commencing.
  2. Clearly communicate production targets to the team
  3. Liaise constantly with the distillery management team
  4. Allocate and change roles for production team depending on the team’s strengths and abilities.
  5. Welcome new starters and provide them with training.
What the successful candidate will need:
  • Experience in leading a team to achieve targets in a fast paced environment.
  • The ability to delegate tasks.
  • A confident and customer focused manner, remaining level headed in any situation.
  • Willingness to work in any role on the production line to replace absent members or support areas most in need.
  • Plan objectives and strategies which allow the team members to perform optimally.
  • Ensure systems are set in place that maintain order and guide team members towards meeting company goals and objectives.
    • Pay rateDay Shifts: 07:15 - 17:30 (£11.00 per hour)There will also be other incentives available to the successful applicant and all team members, should production targets be met.
