Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer for a design, installation and maintenance business that specialises in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical and electrical building services. This role would suit someone with experience of carrying out routine maintenance across most aspects of commercial building services and will be covering mostly Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey, and Berkshire areas.The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of commercial building environments.
A can-do attitude and willing to go the extra mile.
Ability to use own initiative and provide support to other engineers as required.
Good customer service skills and liaison with clients.
Comprehensive reporting skills on work carried out and follow up with recommendations and reports.

What’s involved:

HVAC filter changes and basic general maintenance.
Recording readings during maintenance service visits.
Pump, belt and valve service replacements.
Plumbing and associated works including TMV and TRV replacement.
Attend breakdown including minor building flood damage, burst pipes, isolations.
PPM including basic electrical attendance.
Carry out replacement of mechanical components.
Maintain boiler-room/plantroom environments working alongside a qualified Gas Safe engineer.
Flushing of mains water systems and temperature readings.
Attend straight forward drain blockages.
Plumbing experience would be advantageous.

Working 37.5 hours a week + overtime. The business offers 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays, workplace pension and health cover. Call-out Rota 1 in 6 weeks £120 + min 4 hours.
