Class Teacher£24,373 - £35,971 per annumM1 up to M6 plus SEN Allowance1,265 hours per year, Term-Time OnlyPermanentBased in Lingfield, SurreyAbout UsYoung Epilepsy is the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions, and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.Your roleWe are looking for a creative, inspirational and dedicated Teacher who is passionate about working with SEN children to join our team of professionalsYou will take responsibility for the teaching, learning and pastoral care of a class group, plan and teach well-structured lessons to meet individual learning needs, using the appropriated strategies to demonstrate and monitor student progression. You will ensure that students will achieve in relation to their prior attainment, and make good progress, in-line with others in similar settings. You will also take responsibility for the line management of the staff team working with the class group.St. Piers School welcomes Applications from experienced Staff as well as those newer to the profession - whatever your background or experience, we are committed to developing you and ensuring you remain professionally stimulated with real job satisfaction and support.What we need from youAs well as holding NQT/QTS or equivalent, you will have recent experience of working within a special or mainstream school, combined with a good working knowledge of the National Curriculum and its assessment. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, able to communicate appropriately at all levels, with an excellent team work ethic.
