Job Description

Come and join this exciting growing Day Nursery and Pre-School in Lingfield!A modern and newly refurbished Nursery, situated in the heart of Lingfield, are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to ensure a warm welcoming environment for the children and their families.Details: Full-time, flexible shift patterns, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme,closed 2 weeks for Christmas, friendly and fun team.Duties

  • To provide a warm welcoming environment for children and their families attending the nursery with a consistent and professional outlook and a positive image.
  • To help with the responsibility of the day to day running of the room, whilst being able to work well within a team.
  • To help ensure that a wide range of developmental activities are provided in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • To help introduce changes to improve progress and the success of the nursery.
  • To help provide at all times with paramount importance a safe and secure environment.
  • To help provide a positive environment, offering appropriate opportunity for children to develop and learn through a choice of activities.
  • To be a key person, ensuring the overall development of your key children, remain up to date with all paperwork including adult led activities and learning journey folders.
  • To work well within a team and be able to contribute support and ideas, in order to help provide continuous high standards.
  • To start to communicate with parents and visitors in a professional way and be able to discuss any issues in a tactful way with your room leader or manager.
  • To help support the nursery in a consistent and professional manner. To start to become involved in decision making which helps the development of the nursery.
    • Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum NNEB or CACHE/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
