Job Description

Job Role: KS1 Teacher (1 Year)Location: Lingfield, SurreyStart Date: September 2020Salary: Paid to ScaleI am currently working with an Ofsted rated GOOD school on an exciting new role in the Lingfield area.Starting from September, the school are looking for an outstanding KS1 Primary Teacher teacher to join them on a full time basis for one year.The School:• Rated Ofsted ‘Good’.• In Lingfield, Surrey on the boarder with West Sussex and Kent.• Currently has 204 children on roll in mixed ability classes.• Is a 1 form entry school with support staff in each morning.• The school values everyone’s contribution to the team and school community and put emotional wellbeing first.The Role:• A full time, class teacher in KS1, working in a one form entry school.• The class is mixed ability with support from an LSA in the morning.• To provide quality first teaching to the class, using the excellent facilities of the school to enhanced the children’s learning.• To be flexible in light of current events, in order to support the children to progress in their learning but also support the children mentally as they return to school in different and sometimes difficult circumstances.What you will need:• Qualified teaching status for the UK• Experience working in KS1 across previous jobs or teaching placements.• A willingness to contribute to the wider ethos of the school through the involvement of running clubs.• Experience of teaching and assessing against the National Curriculum.• An awareness of safeguarding principles and a commitment to keeping children safe.• Flexible with regards to year group and in adapting planning to meet the needs of the children.• A dedication to the mental wellbeing of the pupils in the school.If this sounds like a role that you would like, please forward us your most up to date CV to me and I will call you.
