You will be required to provide leadership and effective management of the Facilities Team and to manage and be accountable for the efficient and effective provision of comprehensive client centred services for estates planning, management and facility support activities.Working with the Senior Management team you will help to deliver an ambitious and complex Estate Development programme, designed to reduce financial liability associated with the operation of the estate. With support from 2 direct reports you will have overall responsibility for a team that has 40 members. This team is responsible for the following:Waste ManagementResponsive and Planned MaintenanceCateringCleaning and Domestic ServicesReception servicesGround MaintenanceOffice SpaceYou will also work with the Senior Management Team to establish an estate strategy and deliver an ambitious estate development programme over the next 3-7 years to transform the estate. This will include implementing robust facilities process and procedures to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of the facilities function, with a key focus on procuring value for money maintenance and services contracts and providing high quality services to internal customers through proactive life cycle programmes and well managed responsive repairs. In addition, you will help to specify and manage capital work programmes - with appropriate external professional support as required, ensuring projects are completed in accordance within the timescale and budget of the project plan.
