Placing Broker My client - an expanding insurance broker based in Lingfield are seeking a Commercial Insurance Placement Broker . The ideal candidate will have experience of placing a broad range of commercial SME insurance contracts, both in relation to new and existingbusiness.We would expect the candidates to have active relationships with an array of insurers from a business placement and negotiation perspective, which means they have a good understanding of the insurance carriers products. In addition, you wil be requiredto have the ability to check policy wordings and schedules, make comparisons between different products and make recommendations to the account executive or to the client directly depending upon the circumstances. Additionally, delegate to junior members ofthe team and offer support to senior members of the team.This is essentially a desk-based role, which may or may not have oversight of others in the broking team depending upon the candidates experience and to some extent, your expectations. There is of course, an element of customer relationship management withthe role, however, it is not an account executive or sales-led role.Experience using Acturis would be a massive bonus, although is not essential.Commercial insurance broking experience is essential - Those without will not be considered.
