£24,654 to £26,426 per annum, pro rata37.5 hours per week, Term Time OnlyPermanentBased in Lingfield, SurreyAbout UsYoung Epilepsy is the only UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.Your roleBased within our Psychology team, your goal will be to advance practice to support young people with Epilepsy and learning difficulties. Your role will involve providing educational input for the children and young people who are attending rehab and behaviour assessment at the Neville Centre assessment unit.As an integral part of the team, you will provide training for colleagues, modelling good practice across the site, as well as carrying out case studies to show positive outcomes for young people. You will also undertake supervision, and provide safe support training for colleagues across the organisation.What we need from youWith a first degree in Psychology/ Education or Cert Ed, you will have a background of working with children and young people with learning difficulties and epilepsy, and have knowledge of children with ASD ADHD. Your previous experience will have involved carrying out observations, and writing reports, as well as designing and implementing interventions.
