Job Description

Management Accountant Salary £40000 - £55000 (based on experience)My client has doubled in size over the last 10 years and plans to grow by another 50% over the next 5 years. Based at Head Office near Lichfield, the Finance Team are looking for a talented Management Accountant. Working alongside the Financial Accountantand managing a small team, this role is vital in delivering timely and accurate management accounts for the business.What youll be doing:

  • Ensuring tasks are delivered to time and quality and resolving issues that arise
  • Working alongside the Financial Accountant to produce management accounts for our French subsidiary and all divisions of my client.
  • Finalising and producing written commentary for monthly management accounts
  • Managing a small team of Assistant Accountants
  • Ensuring delivery of information required for statutory audit
  • Working alongside the Financial Accountant to deliver balance sheet reconciliations and resolve differences
  • Developing quality routines and process improvements using our ERP system
  • Working with department heads to analyse information and manage overhead cost
  • Supporting other statutory reporting and legislation
What youll bring:
  • 3 years + experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical ability including financial commentary, management and statutory accounting and financial controls
  • Staff management experience preferred
  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA fully qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in French language would be advantageous
