Job Description

Are you an experienced and passionate Internal Recruiter who loves to create and deliver people practices that develop and maintain positive working relationships within the business Do you have the skills and knowledge to manage complex and sensitive issuesin a diverse and dynamic environmentReed HR are looking for a talented and motivated Internal Recruiter to join a leading manufacturer. You will be responsible for leading recruitment projects assigned to you and consistently meeting the recruitment team benchmarks of time, quality, cost,with quality as your primary driver. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders, trade unions, employee representatives, and external partners to ensure that people practices are fair, transparent, and aligned with the business objectives.Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 per annum + benefitsLocation: LichfieldWorking hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (Hybrid working, 3 days in the office)As an Internal Recruiter, you will:

  • Define, shape, and lead the end-to-end recruitment process across all business functions.
  • Build strong and influential working relationships with the management team in order to successfully lead staff recruitment projects from end to end.
  • Create adverts and proactively search for candidates.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand and define role requirements, ensuring suggested solutions meet current business needs and suggesting changes or alternatives solutions where relevant.
  • Ensure hiring managers are clear on their obligations as part of the recruitment process.
  • Discuss, define, agree, and document a full recruitment and selection process per role.
  • Coach hiring managers on relevant aspects of the recruitment process, particularly interview skills, and offer feedback and coaching on recruitment best practice.
  • Continuously seek innovative routes to market, developing strategies for success across all campaigns.
  • Use psychometric and other assessment tools as part of the selection process.
  • Analyse and report on recruitment campaigns, recommending future improvements.
  • Lead recruitment or people related improvement projects.
  • Lead and conduct interviews.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Experience in either an in-house, RPO/MSP, or recruitment account management role.
  • Experience working in a pro-active search environment.
  • Experience leading and conducting interviews and coaching stakeholders on how to take them on.
  • Knowledge around psychometric testing is desired.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • A high level of emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.
  • A passion for creating a positive work culture that supports high engagement/performance levels.
