Job Description

Whats in it for me• A superb opportunity to join an award winning company who are seeking an experienced Internal Communication Manager• The job role is permanent and 30 hours per week• Salary £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata• A standalone role working closely with HRD, Marketing and the Senior leadership team in order to design, implement and manage the Company’s internal communication strategy.Day to Day Duties• To project manage the implementation and integration of the Company’s intranet system.• Build and manage all pages and content published on the intranet (Sorce platform) in line with Company culture and values.• To effectively manage the relationship with Sorce and take full accountability to ensure that the Intranet is kept relevant and up to date.• Develop and deliver the Company’s internal communication strategy, planning the calendar of activity, increasing colleague engagement.• Find innovative and creative ways of communicating key messages to support colleague engagement and embed our culture.• Implementing new internal communications best practice guidelines that can be understood and followed across the organisation allowing a consistent approach to communications delivery.• Work alongside HRD and Marketing teams to streamline and mirror content.• To effectively deploy communications that support the transition to remote working.Essential Skills• Demonstrable experience within a similar role - ideally within a fast-paced environment.• Previous experience of introducing, developing and effectively embedding a Company intranet system.• Demonstrable experience of being able to translate business requirements into exciting content for all colleagues, using a range of methods to continually improve internal communications and engagemen• Experience of designing and delivering internal communications and engagement plans.• Previous exposure to a range of channels suitable for internal communication and how they are best deployed for different audiences (including video and other relevant presentation formats).• Ability to take a hands-on approach, transitioning smoothly from strategic to delivery responsibilities.Desirable Experience• Excellent copy writing and proof-reading skills.• Project management experience.• Team player and a proactive approach.• Demonstrable verbal communication skills.•The ability to prioritise, recognising importance and urgency and work to tight deadlines.Apply today by clicking below or giving our team a call onPhone:People Solutions are operating as an employment agency.
