HR Generalist£50,000 - £60,000 + benefitsHome-basedA well respected engineering business is seeking a highly accomplished HR Generalist to provide a varied HR service to a customer base spread throughout the UK and Europe; this customer base consists of 100 heads, all of which operate within the sales functionfor this particular organisation.Working in a highly autonomous capacity, you will be responsible for all aspects of HR, delivering in line with the business needs. With there being a Group HR function, whereby HR tools and standards are defined, you will have to utilise these and make surethey are fit for purpose (as opposed to reinventing these), whilst also providing a people-centric service i.e. assist in developing the skills of the internal customer base, driving changes to culture, driving engagement, liaising with Managers to ensurethey can run effective performance reviews and 121s, providing mentoring for stakeholders around how to deal with challenging situations, provide HR guidance; the more people related aspects of HR as opposed to the more process aspects. Whilst based in the UK (this is a home based role) there will be some occasional travel to the Midlands. However, with the internal customers based throughout Europe there will be the occasional requirement to travel (this is likely to be no more than onceevery two months). My client needs a HR Generalist that will thrive in this environment; being able to remotely support employees; an individual that will be proactive and understand how to address issues they may not have faced previously (for instance, how to deal with an ERissue that is raised in Denmark) rather than waiting to be spoon-fed the answer; and someone that will thrive working with a Management team of this division of the business to ensure the level of HR service provided is second-to-none. The need is to balance the operational and strategic requirements. As such, you will be happy getting involved in both aspects of HR. If this role sounds of interest please send your CV to Matt Greenberg at quoting job reference 268280690.
