**Job Opportunity: History Teacher****Location:** Lichfield**Start Date:** JanuaryWe are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join our esteemed school community in Lichfield. The position is available for a January start, focusing on teaching History to both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.**Responsibilities:**1. **KS3 and KS4 History Education:** Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in History to students in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love for historical inquiry and critical thinking.2. **Curriculum Development:** Contribute to the continuous improvement of the History curriculum, ensuring alignment with current historical developments and the needs of our diverse student body.4. **Assessment and Progress Monitoring:** Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their academic development.**Qualifications and Requirements:**- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in History or a related field.- Experience teaching History at both KS3 and KS4 levels.- Strong knowledge of historical principles and current developments in the field.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a team-oriented teaching environment.We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
