Job Description

A well regarded, entrepreneurial business in Lichfield is looking for a finance manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be based in Litchfield with the flexibility to work from home or other sites and will have genuine opportunities to progress working within this business.In this high-profile job you will be reporting directly into the MD for the business and initially be solely responsible for the end to end finance function of the business before having the opportunity to grow a finance team should the business growth warrant it. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work within an entrepreneurial fast paced business.Duties:

  • Maintaining the accounting records for the company.
  • Full ownership of end to end finance, working with external accountants.
  • Responsibility for building a small finance function should busines growth require it.
  • Work closely with the MD on process improvement and streamlining.
  • Responsible for the efforts and results of the finance department.
  • Update key stakeholders on a regular basis with relevant financial information.
    • About You:
  • You will have previous experience working in a small finance function or being a stand-alone finance function.
  • You will be passionate about working in a small, growing business.
  • You will have experience dealing directly with senior stakeholders.
  • You will have strong experience in all areas of an end to end finance process.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing.
  • Real team player.
  • A demonstratable track record in a similar role.
    • The successful finance business partner will be offered a competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 alongside flexibility in regards to working location.The role is commutable from Burton, Lichfield, Derby, Castle Donnington and Tamworth.
