Job Description

Finance Business PartnerLichfield, West Midlands£50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Benefits12-month Fixed term contractWorking 4-5 days p/wHamilton Woods Qualified search (HWQS) is assisting a Lichfield based healthcare business that is searching for a Finance Business Partner that can meet tight deadlines, challenge inconsistencies and variances, all without supervision.The Finance Business Partner will report to the Head of FP&A, the Finance Business Partner will provide commercial and financial support to the CFO and other members of the senior management team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with the CFO and other members of the senior management team.
  • Provide support to the CFO in corporate initiatives / projects
  • Provide advice and support to the IT Director, particularly in the preparation of business cases, enhancing knowledge and understanding
  • Leading the preparation and review of the annual budgets for both IT and Projects
  • Providing support to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
  • Preparation of adhoc reports, interpreting financial analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
  • Drive continual improvement within finance function
  • Ensuring a particular focus is placed on the overall finish / presentation of all pieces of work, applying appropriate formatting and visual to support the understanding of the information being communicated.
  • Skills:
  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Previous Finance Business Partnering experience with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workloads, be organised, have a flexible working style and enjoy working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communicator and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Possess a problem solving, analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work with and model using large datasets / Advanced Excel / Powerpoint
