Job Description

Capacity Planning Manager£30,000 per annum + Company BenefitsMonday - Friday 8am - 4pmOur client is a leading 3rd party logistics and supply chain solutions provider in the UK and Ireland.With over 17,000 colleagues across more than 200 sites and a 3,400 strong fleet of vehicles, they put their customers at the heart of everything they do.An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join an accomplished Capacity Planning Team as a Capacity Planning Manager on our established site in Lichfield.What youll be doingYoull be reporting to the Senior Capacity Planning Manager and assisting in the overall responsibility of Lichfields site capacity, storage and layout. You are expected to build a network of key relationships to allow strong, open communication and discussion around the operational plan of the site versus actual PVA.Youll support and update the network through in-depth reports surrounding stock capacity/forecast models using a variety of data models, reports and PowerPoint presentations. Ensuring that reporting is consistent is key and being able to relay this information back to the customer, Screwfix, with integrity is a needed skill.About you

  • A strong degree of PC literacy is needed with extensive knowledge utilizing Excel spreadsheets,Macros, SQL and other databases.
  • You will have held a similar position within a supply chain and logistics environment previously
  • As this role is of a communicative nature, effective negational and liaison skills are imperative.
  • Excellent planning, communication, numerical and analytical skills are essential characteristics for this position to aid in such a reactive, fast-paced environment.
  • A driven and team focused mentality is advantageous in this position to drive not only the team but business, further.
