Job Description

Job Title: Application Support Engineer Salary: £25,000 to £30,000Location: Lichfield (Hybrid) Hours: Monday to Friday Description:We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our well established and successful client based in Lichfield.This role is split across two teams delivering the fleet management tools and telematics data that help power the rest of the business. You will be the support bridge between the business and the development teams as the business transition their fleet tomore sustainable electric vehicles and computing platform to the latest cloud technologies.Key Duties:

  • Provide 2nd line support for the companys suite of applications
  • Liaise with frontline support as the bridge between the business and the development team for more complex issues
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to become proficient with applications and the business
  • Identify issues requiring escalation using analytic skills (SQL) and possibly analysis of source code
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Practical understanding of development processes, including change and release management
  • Display strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Working knowledge of supporting MS technologies
  • Microsoft SQL Server/TSQL
  • Basic understanding of computer code and HTML
  • Azure Devops/Jira for issue management
  • Working with APIs
  • Working with Large datasets
