Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse & Logistics ManagerClearview Home Improvements are the Northwest’s leading constructor and installer of Orangeries, Conservatories, single storey extensions, Garden Rooms, Glazed Extensions and Windows and Doors.We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager, with responsibility to manage and develop the logistics and warehouse elements of our business. With a planned business growth of 50%, you will have proven experience of incorporating new technological advances alongside existing practices to increase productivity. You will support our ambitious growth and development plans, you will be a driven, dynamic, passionate and customer service focused individual, who can flourish and progress within a fast paced, forward thinking environment. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and motivate your team.Role Responsibilities:

  • To strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with Clearview’s policies and vision;
  • To play an integral role in the development and implementation of a logistic plan to facilitate the growth of the business;
  • To provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures and ensuring they are always understood and adhered to by the department;
  • To be responsible for the training and development of warehouse staff, observing and coaching to maintain performance, monitor progress and conduct staff reviews, identifying relevant training and development of the Warehouse staff;
  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, responding to all in a professional, timely and effective manner;
  • To provide warehouse information by compiling, initiating, sorting and analysis warehouse performance records and data; such as KPI’s
  • Person Attributes
  • Previous experience of Warehouse Management and logistics, with a strong working knowledge of safe working practices and implementation of new technology;
  • A sound working knowledge and experience of working in a fast-moving installations company;
  • Preferably qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Supervisory Management;
  • An FLT licence is essential;
  • Competent user of IT;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to follow processes and produce measurable results;
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks;
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor your team, undertake regular reviews with individuals, deliver toolbox talks and team meetings and undertake quarterly performance reviews;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees and customers;
