MATHS LECTURER - FURTHER EDUCATION

  • £28-£35 PER HOUR
  • 4 DAYS PER WEEK (8:30-16:30, Mon-Thu)
  • LEYLAND, LANCASHIRE
  • TEMPORARY, LONG-TERM CONTRACT

You will be delivering inspirational Teaching, Learning and Assessment to students aged 16-18, providing quality lessons and making a differenceto students lives.Would this be a good fit for youIf this sounds like your kind of equation, then take a look at the job details below and see if you meet the requirements.DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Teaching GCSE Maths.
  • Planning and Delivery of quality lessons within the Curriculum area.
  • Managing and encouraging learners to hit targets and achieve their potential
  • Promote and participate in the delivery of Basic / Key Skills
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the curriculum in the College
  • Assessment of students and marking of work.
  • Safeguarding students aged 16-18.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Level 5 Teaching Qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed or equivalent).
  • Degree (or equivalent) in relevant Subject.
  • Experience delivering high quality GCSE Maths lessons to 16-18-year-olds in Further Education.
  • Safeguarding knowledge and understanding
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage well with learners.
  • Current Clear & Enhanced DBS on the update service (Beneficial)
