Job Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity Tradewind Education, a leading teaching agency, is seeking a skilled 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support an EYFS pupil in an outstanding primary school located in Leyland.This position offers an exciting chance to make a significant impact on a childs education and development. Full time working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing you with a stable and consistent schedule. We offer a competitive daily rate ranging from£76.89 to £84.89, dependent on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will begin their role in September 2023, at the start of the academic year.Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to an EYFS pupil with speech and language delays, focusing on improving their communication skills.
  • Assist the pupil in various learning activities, adapting teaching methods to suit their individual needs.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the pupils engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and the SENCO to develop and implement tailored strategies for the pupils educational development.
  • Maintain accurate records of the pupils progress and report any concerns or achievements to the relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within an Early Years setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of supporting children with speech and language delays.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and parents.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or an equivalent certification.
