Job Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity Tradewind Education, a leading teaching agency, is seeking a skilled 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support an EYFS pupil in an outstanding primary school located in Leyland.This position offers an exciting chance to make a significant impact on a childs education and development. Full time working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing you with a stable and consistent schedule. We offer a competitive daily rate ranging from£76.89 to £84.89, dependent on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will begin their role in September 2023, at the start of the academic year.Job Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to an EYFS pupil with speech and language delays, focusing on improving their communication skills.
Assist the pupil in various learning activities, adapting teaching methods to suit their individual needs.
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the pupils engagement and progress.
Collaborate with the class teacher and the SENCO to develop and implement tailored strategies for the pupils educational development.
Maintain accurate records of the pupils progress and report any concerns or achievements to the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within an Early Years setting.
Knowledge and understanding of supporting children with speech and language delays.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and parents.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or an equivalent certification.
