Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant £72 - £80 a DayAre you a passionate, qualified teaching assistant who has a real passion for supporting studentsWe are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who is able to work with specific groups of students on a daily basis with challenging behaviour and complex needs. The role involves working with young people undergoing assessment for an EHCP and/orinvolvement with Childrens Social Care via Child in Need or Child Protection processes and/or CAMHs.This is a lovely school with a fantastic and supportive team behind them.The hours would be Monday - Friday, 8:45AM4:30PM.

SEND background desirable
Experience of 1:1 with a child desirable
Pro-active and engaging mindset to help support both the teachers delivery and the students
Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
Managing behaviour and engaging students with their own learning.
Working with students either one to one or in small groups out of the classroom.
Experience with challenging behaviour.
Interest with Construction and/or Hairdressing
