You will have the chance to make a positive, lasting impact on their success and get involved with a wide range of duties.About the RoleWorking from their well established branch in Leyland, you will be involved in refurbishing cryogenic vessels and associated ancillary equipment, whilst ensuring strict compliance to all relevant quality and safety standards and specifications to meet the requirementsof the client.Main Duties- To ensure all equipment is refurbished to all relevant quality and safety standards to the time scales required by the client, thus ensuring customer delivery dates are met- Accurate picking from the stores of the component required for the refurbishing process and completion of all relevant paperwork- Assist in the control of temporary sub-contract labour attending site- Assist in the development of new products and initiatives - Accurate records keeping and timesheet generation- Take responsibility for the day to day QESH related activities within the working area- Keeping all working areas clean, tidy and organised.- Strict adherence to standards and specificationsSkills Requirement- Practical knowledge of refurbishing work carried out on cryogenic equipment- Fabrications and [TIG/MIG] Welding skills- Good working knowledge of pipefitting- Good working knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques- Ability to safely handle liquid gases at cryogenic temperatures to facilitate pressure & cold testing of ancillary equipment- Understand the importance of completion of all relevant documentationAdditional Skills to Benefit the Role- FLT / MEWP Certifications- Crane Driving Certifications- Slinging Certifications- Good working knowledge of Shot blasting and Paint sprayingAdditional Benefits- Annual company bonus scheme- Pension- Death in Service benefit
