This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress and develop within a finance role in an SME where they can have ownership of their work and realise their full potential whilst having good work-life balance and flexible hours.Were currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join the Finance Team and help us in the next phase of our journey.In your new role at Affinity, youll have the support of the finance department and wider management team while you find your feet and develop in the position and thereafter. There is a vast amount of experience in the industry throughout all teams across the business and they will support you as you get to grips with your new role.This is a 12-month FTC with the potential to extend. Hours and salary negotiable for the right candidate.Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including all financial ledgers, accounts receivable and payable, bank & cash, cost accounting, inventory accounting, VAT processing and returns
  • Prepare monthly management accounts including balance sheet and cash reconciliation for Board of Directors as well as KPI reporting where appropriate
  • Establish and manage all financial reporting internally and externally in line with regulatory requirements and Directors requirements
  • Monthly employee payroll and company pension scheme administration
