Engineering Project ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager with technical skills to support our engineering team to install new conveyor systems within our organisation for a 6 to 9 month fix term contractLocation you will be supporting the Manchester regain which covers some travel to the following locations Warrington, Sheffield, Chester, Preston and ManchesterDay-to-day responsibilities:Project planningField verification of drawings and identifying interferences with existing/new equipmentRaise updates for different project phases, and address concerns, if any, from different groups, prior to start of works onsite.Project executionSet-up and manage daily calls with vendors, Provide daily report summary.Site visits to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback. Frequency of site visits to be agreed, address any concerns during these site visits. Escalate any concerns if needed.Manage any ordered materials (signage, racking, SBL) to be received onsite, inventory and identify any gaps. Coordinate with Ops/RME to transport materials for the material movement and installation.Coordinate with IT, obtain IDF keys and monitor IDF cabinets during data cable terminations. Validate cable installation and functionality with IT.Supporting site acceptance tests (4-5d continuous onsite presence)Project closureObtain all documentation from vendor and validate list against vendor deliverables. Validate basic document content (for ex. Declaration of conformity signed, correct DS name, etc.)Transfer all documentation to appropriate storage locationQualifications ExperienceWorking experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering or equivalentWorking experience as Project Manager of medium complex projectsProficiency in tools: AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft ExcelChallenge-trg Recruitment Ltd is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy
