Job Description

Job Title: Nursery CleanerLocation: LeylandJob Type: Part-Time (Evenings)An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our nursery team as a Cleaner. The nursery is located in Leyland, and we are seeking a candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensure all areas of the nursery are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards. This includes classrooms, play areas, restrooms, and common areas.
  2. Maintaining Supplies: Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify the management team when supplies need to be replenished.
  3. Waste Management: Proper disposal of waste in accordance with established guidelines.
  4. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant staff to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  5. Flexible Schedule: The role involves part-time hours, approximately 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, 3 to 4 evenings a week.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Reliable and punctual.
