We are currently looking to recruit a Level 2 teaching assistant to cover within the early years unit within a medium primary schools in the West Newcastle region. The successful candidate would be able to start as soon as necessary compliance and referencing checks have been completed.The role would last until the summer term with the option to extend into next school year or be taken on permanently by the school.To be considered for the role we ask that the following criteria be met in full:-Level 2 or above in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)-Prior experience working in an educational/childcare based environment-A fantastic attitude and approachability are essential-Clear criminal record and be willing to undertake a DBS check if you currently are not in possession of one-You must be able to produce references to cover your last 2 years worth of employment including at least one from a child/education based establishmentThis would be a great opportunity for someone to gain experience in a wonderfully inclusive and warm school environment with the potential for the role to become permanent depending on several factors including performance.Posts are subject to DBS and references.
