Job Description

We are working with a Mid-Cheshire based NHS Trust who are looking for qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) to join their growing team.The below opportunities are currently available -

Adult SALT full time (37.5 hours per week) - Band 6-7

Adult SALT part time (0.64 whole time equivalent) - Band 6

Speech and Language Therapists provide life-changing treatment, support and card for adults who have difficulties with communications, eating drinking and swallowing. Your role is to help people who, for physical or psychological reasons, have problems speaking and communicating.Patients ranged from older people whose ability has been impaired by illness or injury. It also includes treatment for those who have difficult with eating or swallowing.Youll help adults with:

communication or eating and swallowing problems following neurological impairments and degenerative conditions, including stroke, head injury, Parkinsons disease and dementia

voice problems

mental health issues

learning difficulties

physical disabilities

stammering

hearing impairment
