Job Description

Do you have a background in administration and would like to begin your career within HR and learn HR administrationWould you like to work and train alongside a Senior HR Advisor helping to support them with basic front-line advisory queries and helping with all the general HR administrationIf so, then this role will be for youYou will have experience in general office administration and a passion for HR and be looking for an entry-level role in HR. By learning from an experienced HR Advisor you will be able to take your first steps on the HR career ladder.In this role you will:HR Admin duties:

  • Produce administration for the on-boarding employees
  • Issue and chase contracts and new joiner packs
  • Add records and maintain the HR database
  • Request IT for new joiners
  • Produce administration for employment, including but not limited to pay reviews, change of line manager, promotions etc.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Advisors & HR Business Partners, including but not limited to note taking and letters related to disciplinaries, grievances, maternity, redundancies, leavers etc.
  • Liaise with the payroll team on monthly and weekly payroll changes
  • Produce contract for services agreements and keep on top of contract expiry dates
  • Maintain the HR teams electronic and paper filing systems
  • Systemise processes where possible
  • Support the HR Team on data collection and HR projects, as required
  • Respond to employee queries assigned in the HR inbox
HR Advisor duties:
  • Support the Senior HR Advisor and line managers with general advisory queries regarding company policies including absence, maternity, paternity, approvals for new starters, pay reviews and contract changes, ensuring that any advice given is in line withpolicy and best practice
  • Support line managers with low-level employee relations issues, taking notes, writing letters, and giving advice under the guidance of the Senior HR Advisor
  • Support the Senior HR Advisor in managing a wide range of HR issues including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, redundancy, absence, bespoke working requests, and conducting maternity meetings and exit interviews
  • Support with the onboarding of new colleagues including delivering company inductions as required.
