Job Description

Technical Designer - Bespoke Kitchens & Interior Furniture SolutionsMoylans Design are a family run business truly passionate about delivering a first-class experience to clients in terms of product and service. With over 30 years’ experience in kitchens, bedrooms and bespoke interior solutions we have recently extended our showroom in Leigh on Sea and are looking to expand our team with a Technical Designer. A design background is a must.The Role

  • This is a support role
  • You will work closely with the Head of Sales & Director of Operations
  • Working as a team player to support, learn and understand all elements of our business from design through to installation
  • Space planning and interior designs using CAD
  • Creating 3D designs from CAD drawings, utilising "Winner" software by Compusoft.
  • Maintaining accurate project files and all associated project management tasks
  • Maintaining a first-class showroom experience
  • You will keep on top of industry related trends and convert to topical social media opportunities
    • The successful candidate will possess the following personal and professional attributes:Essential Skills:
  • Design led individual, with a keen eye for space and functionality
  • Design software experience CAD and/or Winner are essential
  • Articulate, fluent oral and written communication in English
  • Strong numeric and literacy skills, able to calculate and write quotations
  • Competency with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Well organised & efficient, attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, solution seeking to meet tight deadlines.
  • Active Social Media marketeer
  • Outgoing personality with strong Interpersonal skills
  • Well presented.

  • Willingness to learn, develop and be flexible
  • Solution based thinking, problem solver
  • Positive, polite and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
