Job Description

We are looking for a passionate developer to join a highly skilled software development team in Leicestershire innovating and producing complex software products. You’ll have a chance to work on an industry leading system used by global organisations to secure digital identities.The position offers part-remote working post-Covid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) and flexible working around core hours.Key skills:

  • Experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting web services using C# .NET
  • Experience of developing / consuming C#.NET web services, SOAP and RESTful
  • Experience working with XML, XSLT, and JSON
  • Experience applying design patterns and industry best practice to code
  • Unit and integration test knowledge and experience of TDD
  • Good working knowledge of database design and operation with SQL Server
  • Experience producing and working to a technical specification
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
    • Bonus skills:
  • C++ experience for business object layer development
  • Exposure to smartcard technology, PKI and LDAP directories
  • Experience with continuous integration, e.g. Jenkins
  • Experience using an agile development tool, e.g. Jira
  • Experience of automated testing tools e.g. SpecFlow or similar
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and the ability to apply and communicate the design to others
  • Performance tuning of both code and database
  • Experience in secure coding and secure design principles
