Job Description

Its vision is to explore the vital points of intervention in a child’s life which ensure that all individuals have a wide range of cultural experiences and opportunities to unearth their creative talent.RoleThe main purpose of this role is to lead in the development of high-quality evidence-based creative and cultural engagement activities using participatory approaches.The post-holder will:

  • Provide guidance on the delivery of an evidence-based artistic and creative programme
  • Work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI), programme manager and cultural sector in Leicester, nationally and internationally
  • Leading and developing a high-quality evidence-based participatory creative and cultural programme within a transdisciplinary team that comprises of artists and cultural engagement practitioners
  • Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a dynamic individual who is an innovative thinker with anactive profile in the arts, creativity and or cultural participation aligned with theTalent 25 research programme.We are especially interested in candidates whose:
  • Academic and practice profile demonstrate the ability to use initiative, creativity and judgement to develop acreative framework for arts/cultural participation projects for children, young people and their families, and has the experience of working with a transdisciplinary team of artists, creative practitioners, and community workers
  • Knowledge of a range of participatory arts/creative and cultural activities including but not limited to theatre, music,dance, digital, visual arts, comedy and outdoor arts
  • Demonstrable experience in advancing diversity, equality and inclusion in the arts, creativity and culture
  • Ability to build internal and external networks, manage a diverse portfolio of artists’ projects, and effectivelycommunicate and represent the mission of the Talent 25 programme to academics, practitioners and the general public.
