Job Description

PE Teaching AssistantTradewind recruitment are supporting a number of primary schools in Charnwood with their need for a PE Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.This role would a person with a background in sports keen to use their experience to support children get the most out of their Physical Education. You will be supporting pupils ages 4-11 alongside the class Teacher, including setting up of the class, tidyingaway apparatus, working with small groups or 1:1 as required.The school; is part of a new programmed which means they have excellent facilities including a fantastic sporting facility and an abundance of safe outdoor space for our students to enjoy. The school is walking distance from the main DLR station too. Hoursare 08:15 - 15:00, Monday to Friday. The role is to start ASAP until Xmas initially with the view to be extended. The daily rate is £65-80 per day.To be considered for this role you must have:

  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Have a Degree
