Job Description

Design EngineerDue to continued success, an exciting position has become available for a full-time Design Engineer based in Leicester. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary.This will be a varied and interesting job role, with a focus on the design of broach cutting tools.Role Requirements

  • The successful applicant should have experience in a previous Engineering Design role using 2D and 3D CAD software preferably AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Minimum qualification is HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Role Responsibilities
  • Design Layouts for quotation purposes.
  • Technical design and specification of the broach tool to meet customers enquiries.
  • 2D and 3D CAD production drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Supporting the Technical Department with root cause analysis of technical issues as well as general design support.
  • Assisting the production department with Technical queries.
