We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join our team based in Leicester (our city centre office is open, though most of us are working from home at present due to Covid). Joining us on a full time, permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.This is a senior client servicing role working alongside the SMT you will be actively involved in developing brand and marketing strategy. This will also involve active participation in workshops and hands-on delivery.Our Account Director will have the following responsibilities:- Managing agency-client relationships- Creating commercial opportunities with current clients to maximise revenue growth- Working as part of a team to deliver the highest-quality projects on time and to budget- Writing proposals, planning resources, and producing project schedules- Briefing projects into creative, technical, content, and search teams, both within the agency and externally- Owning the clients brand and marketing strategy across the agency and ensuring that all work is aligned to this- Providing strategic direction for client accounts- Contributing to pitches and new business- Facilitating brand, strategy, and discovery workshops, and overseeing the resulting analysis- Overseeing quality control – coordinating testing and issue management- Managing change requests, identifying requests that are in/out of project scope; calculating their impact, and communicating any cost-implications- Analysing accounts and campaigns to assess ROI for our clientsWhat we’re looking for in our Account Director:Desired- A minimum of 1 years’ experience as an Account Director in a similar role- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within brand and digital marketing- An enthusiasm for brand-led marketing and brand development- Highly organised – meticulous in your project scoping, planning, costing, and scheduling- Experience to develop and implement marketing strategies for clients- An understanding of CRM and marketing automation and the role it plays as part of a wider marketing plan- Understand the principles of digital marketing, user experience, and open source technology- Proven ability to multitask and prioritise- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; you can confidently influence and direct teams and get the most out of people- Strong analytical skills- Having a good instinct for spotting commercial opportunities within client accountsBeneficial - Experience and an understanding of using a range of project delivery methodologies and software- Experience in delivering training sessions to clients for using web-based technology (marketing platforms, CMS platforms)OurAccount Director will receive the following benefits:- A competitive salary (and profit related bonus after 12 months’ continuous service)- 23 days standard holiday (including extended Christmas break)- Birthday holiday bonus- Dedicated training time- A friendly, well-established team- Team lunch on us each payday- Childcare Vouchers and Cycle-to-work scheme- Weekly fresh fruit and all the coffee (or tea) you can drinkIf you feel you have the skills and experience to join us as our Account Director, then please click apply now!
