Job Description

Technical Support Consultant

  • Based in Leeds
  • £30,000 - £55,000 pa, Dependant on Experience

THE OPPORTUNITYWe have partnered with a well-established provider of integration software and services, who are searching for talented Support and Technical Consultant to join their growing team. In order to achieve their goal of becoming the go-to integration partnerfor the ERP market, we are looking to speak to individuals with a solid technical background, whether that be in programming/development or supporting ERP systems and are now searching for a new and exciting challenge.You will take a hands-on role in the development, support, and implementation of our clients solution and will play an integral part in consulting these clients on their needs and requirements. Therefore, we wish to speak with individuals with experiencein writing XSLT worksheets, dealing with SQL Server queries, and a solid understanding of EDI standards and systems.We would like to speak to candidates who can demonstrate the following:
  • Client facing work with ERP systems, either as a consultant or as part of a technical support team.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end support processes.
  • Strong development or programming skills using XSLT.
  • Demonstrable experience in technical scripting or programming languages (Java is necessary, .NET/PHP would be beneficial).
  • Understanding of document formats such as CSV and XML.
  • Demonstrable experience of SQL Server Queries.
  • Exposure to SAP Business One or Sage ERP systems.
  • Experience of EDI standards and systems (Desirable).
  • Basic understanding of SOAP and REST web services (Desirable).
  • Experience of advanced SQL Server concepts, such as views and stored procedures (Desirable).
