Job Description

Client Accountant - growing Leeds based Accountancy Practice - £30k - £38k.This is an excellent opportunity to join a regional firm who are going through an exciting period of growth and will suit candidates who are either studying or AAT qualified.Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:-

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Dealing with client queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Reviewing accounts and approving them to be sent to the client
  • Training and working closely with clients to help use the bookkeeping portal correctly and efficiently
  • Providing advice on tax planning and maximising tax efficiencies
  • Preparing self-assessment tax returns
  • Keeping fully up to date with new tax laws, rules and regulations for limited companies
  • Providing technical advice
  • Building, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients
Requirements
  • Ideally experience of working with SMEs and Limited companies
  • Ambitious and looking to progress
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
