Job Description

Tax Accountant needed for a dynamic role, blending remote work with office presence in Leeds. Dive into the fascinating arena of direct and indirect taxation across a Group head office business where you will guide both internal and external stakeholdersand become the go-to tax expert. Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant span from corporation tax to VAT, with opportunities to learn about treasury and hedging (no treasury experience needed). Key duties include:

  • Enhancing tax reporting and control frameworks.
  • Contributing to key projects, ensuring global tax compliance.
  • Preparing tax accounting workings for annual statutory accounts.
  • Completing and submitting tax returns.
  • Providing inhouse training and mentoring to business units and leaders.
