Job Description

Science Teacher (Chemistry, Physics, Biology)Either-Youre an experienced science teacher working in secondary education. Its fair to say you found your feet and enjoying the chance to develop your career further, but havent yet found the right placement for you.-Youre questioning your career as a full-time science teacher or member of the SLT and seeking a job just as fulfilling, but without the admin and pressure. Youd enjoy time to focus on your own endeavors and considering teaching on a part-time basis.-Or your experience of working with education recruitment agencies has left you feeling frustrated or jaded, and you may have decided theyre all the same.At Academics there are different options. That could mean fixed-term supply, day to day flexibility or a well-suited permanent position.We offer -

  • A personal consultant- thats me, Izzy. Supply teachers are now at the crux of the secondary staffing model, and demand is only growing. Never mind the opportunities to become permanent. Your school feedback is important. Finding your desired schools isimportant.
  • Gold -accredited compliance, protecting you, me and the school. There is no cutting corners and you must feel safe in changing environments. Schools trust our reputation and that the staff we provide are fully-vetted. A robust process through which youwill be supported.
  • In house payroll. As a member of staff with academics, you are paid via PAYE. This means no umbrella payroll agencies; no time spent doing your own tax return; and no confusion with timings. With weekly pay, I ensure timesheets are correct and approvedon-time.
