Job Description

When individuals and families leave their home in fear of domestic violence and abuse they usually leave their belongings,friends and families and have suffered trauma. Do you want to lead a team supporting them on their journey through recovery and towards self-confidence and independenceOur client is the largest womens charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic violence and abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortia..They are looking for a Team Leader* to lead a team of workers at refuge to ensure that high quality support is provided to the families in their safe accommodation.You will need: Experience of supervising/leading workers to provide excellent support to vulnerable people and children Experience of working in supported accommodation To have a good understanding of violence against women and domestic, sexual and honour- based violence and abuse, stalking and forced marriage and the impact on individualsThe closing date is 9.00 am on Monday 10th October 2022;They are fully committed to the principles of equality of opportunity and applications are welcome from all sections of the community.
