Job Description

FirstBus are looking for a PropertyProject Manager to be a key player in the FirstBusdecarbonisation programme!As one of ourPropertyProject Managers, you will be responsible for managing a breadth of ~£10m projects, to supportour strategy to operate 100% zero emissions depots and fleet by 2035.Ourportfolio spans from Cornwall right through to Scotland, withprojects ranging from minor local works to strategic change programmes. Each project presents varying challenges, risks, priorities, and dependencies, so you willhave experience of managingand delivering (from inception to completion) projects of various size, value, and complication.You willhave a significant interest in property and decarbonisation, relishing the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where technical solutions evolve and ourpropertyportfolio may change. We are specifically looking for someone proactive withan optimistic demeanour, who relishes change and can overcome challengeswith positive enthusiasm.What are we looking for

  • You willhave proven project manager experience and have ideally worked in both corporate and operationalenvironments, with a passion for decarbonisation and property/construction
  • We are a large organisation, so experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders within challengingoperationalenvironments is a must
  • Youll be a great communicator, able to rapidly develop relationships and influence colleagues and external partners, whilst working collaboratively
  • Able to confidently work in a fast-paced projectenvironment, relishing the opportunity to take responsibility, resolve issues and see projects through to the end
  • Demonstrates drive, ambition, and enthusiasmtogetherwith a clear sense of ownership
