Job Description

PLC Commissioning Engineer Up to £40,000Car Allowance or Company Car + Bonus Scheme + Holiday Pay + Pension YorkshireCurrently recruiting for a PLC Commissioning Engineer to join a leading electrical company. We are keen to hear from engineers that have experience of commission PLC Software preferably within a process environment.As a PLC Commissioning Engineer you will be required to complete the following tasks:

  • Visit customer sites with PLC, HMI and SCADA codes to commission
  • Complete SAT tests under customer supervision
  • Work as part of a team with colleagues and customers
  • Sort out post commission snags
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and kept up to date
    • The successful PLC Commissioning Engineer should have the following skills and experience:
  • A good working knowledge of GX Works 2, GT Designer 3, GX ICE Developer and RS Logix 500
  • Beneficial to hold an understanding of IFIX 5.9
  • Experience working within ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems
  • Full UK Driving License ideally clean
    • We are keen to hear from engineers that are self-motived, organised and hold good communication skills.This role requires visits to customer sites and the successful candidate should expect to be on customer sites around 90% of the time.
