Job Description

Your daily duties will include obtaining the necessary details from the caller in order to efficiently refer them to the relevant servicesand signpost to the relevant professionals for further advice.Every assignment at Serco comes with the following benefits to you:

Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Able to follow instructions and processes
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a faced paced, high pressured team environment
  • Verified RTW documentation
  • Consent to undertake BPSS verification and willingness to provide employment history
  • Willingness and consent to apply for a DBS check
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a confident telephone manner with the ability to engage and build rapport quickly with people to assess their needs in a timely manner
  • Ability to handle the sensitive nature of calls/contacts to the service with empathy, professionalism, and a non-judgemental approach
  • An understanding of confidentiality
Please note, to successfully complete this role you will need access to your own device. This must be a laptop or desk top computer, with windows 10, google chrome and Microsoft teams installed.
